Is it just me or is this series just getting better by the issue? Leading off from the last chapter, Cap is basically on a search and find mission of his son since learning about him from the last issue, and he isn’t too happy either, if you thought Cap. was imposing last the last few issues, well you haven’t seen anything until you read this issue he is completely the badass.

Story: Millar has a culmination of almost having mini stories blended in one. It’s not Pulp Fiction or anything, just the break offs from each character are timed well and in the end when they join to be the New Avengers team in the end you already have a grasp of the characters even though they only had a brief introduction of each one. The character development seems like the first thought in this issue, characters don’t seem thrown at you in barrages and then forgotten about hey are led into and the story of each one is fluid, except for Nerd Hulk and the random Spiderman. The whole Captain on the run theme is just great, though plain, I enjoy it, just seeing Captain revolt against his old comrades is great to see and I hope this continues on for a while longer.

Artwork: Beautiful detail in every character on every panel, on each page of this comic. I don’t know how much I can stress that I’m in love with this art. So crisp and smooth yet the features in most males are rigid with facial creases or jaw structures it’s just fantastic drawing. The coloring isn’t bad either, it gives each character and item on the pages even more life than they have, and the comic screams we have life, on each page. Artwork is grand; I love it, and you should too.

What I Noticed: Character designs are some of my favorites, coming from Ultimate comics is no surprise this part of Marvel has some great models for their reboot of Marvel. Character representation through words are perfect conversations are great , not generic or cliché just perfect.

Closing Words If you as a comic fan do not get this comic, I will probably disapprove of you for the rest of my life. This comic is so complete its not even funny, it is perfect or as perfect as you can make a comic. Other than me almost going broke this week, it is worth every penny, dime, nickel whatever you have get this comic NOW.
