New Avengers #2 Review

// New Avengers #2 Review

I’m just going to say it: I loved this issue. Big fight + chase scenes + innocent bystanders + witty banter = Win in my book. The heroic age is here, and if you didn’t know it before reading New Avengers #2 then you’re a dumbass. Also because, clearly “The Heroic Age” has been the header on many Marvel Comics for weeks now…really don’t know how you could miss it.

ThunderBolts -HO!

// ThunderBolts -HO!

Thunderbolts has a new writer, artist and team appearing in the book.  It is written by Jeff Parker, drawn by Kev Walker and colored by Frank Martin.  So far this team is doing well on the book and I am over all enjoying it.  I, personally, am a little indifferent on the art.  It seems on and off good, but the colorist is doing a superb job.

Supergirl #54 Review

// Supergirl #54 Review

I’m still going to say it again: Sterling Gates on Supergirl is a wonderful example of what a writer with a good sense of direction can accomplish with a ‘mediocre’ character.

Thunderbolts #146

// Thunderbolts #146

Thunderbolts 146. Ok, so It’s no secret that a certain Mr. Luke Cage is in my top three of fave characters. I think many of you know that by now.  And with the help of a certain Mr. Bendis, Cage has made his way into the big times so to speak, becoming a key member on a couple of Avenger teams, and now, running his own squad fugitives turned would be heroes.: The Thunderboltz!
